1. The essentials in brief
This website is deliberately built to be lean. Specifically, this means:
- No cookies. We do not set any cookies and do not store anything else on your device either – no local storage, no session storage. That is why you see no consent banner here: there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics, no tracking. No Google Analytics, no Matomo, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks.
- No third-party requests. We deliver fonts, icons and scripts ourselves. When viewing this site, your browser does not contact any third-party server.
- Servers in Germany. This website runs on a server in a data centre in Berlin.
We therefore only process personal data in two cases: in the technically unavoidable server logs, and when you write to us or call us yourself.
2. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
DSS – Digital Shared Services GmbHRadeberger Straße 45
01099 Dresden
Deutschland
Represented by managing director Patrick Manteuffel
Phone: +49 351 65561075
Email: info@digital-shared-services.com
We have not appointed a data protection officer because the legal requirements for doing so do not apply to us. Please send any questions about data protection to the address above.
3. Hosting and server logs
This website is operated on a server of IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, in its Berlin data centre. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.
When a page is requested, the server automatically collects data that your browser transmits and that is technically required for delivery:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- requested address and amount of data transferred
- status message of the server
- browser type and version, and operating system
- previously visited page, if your browser transmits it
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in technically error-free operation and in defending against attacks. This data is not merged with other data sources, and we do not analyse it for marketing purposes.
Storage period: the logs are deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest. Individual entries are only kept longer if they are needed to investigate a specific security incident.
4. Encryption
This website uses TLS encryption throughout. Requests via “http” are automatically redirected to “https”. You can recognise an encrypted connection in your browser's address bar.
5. Contact and trial form
If you write to us using a form on this website, we process the details you enter: name, email address and – if provided – company, phone number, the selected plan and your message. In addition, we transmit the address of the page from which you sent the form, so that we can classify your enquiry.
The technical route – we state it explicitly: the forms on this website are processed by a sending service that we operate ourselves and that can be reached at the address digital-shared-services.com. Your details therefore leave the domain aurora-hive.de, but remain within the same controller and on servers in Germany. They are not passed on to third parties.
From your details, this service generates two emails: one to our mailbox and an acknowledgement of receipt to the address you provided. Emails are sent via the mail servers of IONOS SE in Germany.
To protect against automated entries, each form contains a hidden field that is invisible to people. If it is filled in, we discard the enquiry. We also limit the number of enquiries per IP address. Neither involves profiling.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry serves to initiate or perform a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (answering enquiries). Your name and email address are required so that we can reply; all other fields are voluntary.
6. Email and phone
If you write to us directly or call us, we process your details to deal with your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Please note that unencrypted email is not a secure means of transmission; we are happy to offer you another route for confidential documents.
7. Cookies and storage on your device
This website sets no cookies and stores no information on your device within the meaning of § 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). There is neither a consent banner nor a preference store.
8. Embedded third-party content
There is none. This website does not load fonts from Google Fonts, maps, video platforms, scripts from content delivery networks or social media widgets. Everything your browser loads comes from the server on which this website is hosted. The only exception is the form submission described in section 5 above, which you trigger yourself by sending the form.
9. Note on the programs themselves
This policy applies exclusively to this website. Separate terms apply to the use of the programs Aurora Hive Sales, Sites and Live: there we process data on your behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR. That agreement also names the sub-processors used. Currently these are IONOS SE (servers in the Berlin data centre), OpenAI as the provider of the language model that delivers the AI-supported features (data may be transferred to the USA in the process), and DataForSEO OÜ for search and visibility data such as search results and search volume. You receive the agreement, together with the annex on the technical and organisational measures, before the contract is concluded; on request we will send it to you even earlier.
10. Storage period
- Server logs: 14 days at the most.
- Enquiries via form, email or phone: for as long as is necessary to deal with them. If the enquiry does not lead to a contract, we delete it after six months at the latest.
- Details relevant under tax or commercial law: in accordance with the statutory retention periods, as a rule six or ten years.
11. Your rights
You have the right at any time to
- access to the data processed about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).
You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future. To do so, simply contact the address given in section 2.
Irrespective of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
Sächsischer Datenschutzbeauftragter (Saxon Data Protection Commissioner)Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden
